Pre/Post Role

Wednesday, February 11th, 3pm-5pm: Help set up in a more physical role!

Wednesday, February 11th, 5pm-7pm: Help set up in a more physical role! 

Friday, February 13th, 9pm-10;30pm: Help clean up after the event! 

Saturday, February 14th, 9am-12pm: Next morning clean up!

None: I'd like to serve during prom! See next page for during prom sign up!

Buddy (4:30pm): A 1:1 role - accompany a guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and any assistance they may need during prom.

Hospitality Team (4:30pm): You will ensure that guests, and caretakers who stay, always have food and beverages available throughout the duration of the prom.

Experience Team (4:30pm): You will facilitate the room during karaoke, magician and any other experience for the guest.

Hype Team (4:30pm): You will start off as paparazzi and then move to the dance and help our guests dance the night away during the prom.

Paparazzi Team (4:45pm-6:30pm): Help welcome our guests as they come in and have their Red Carpet moment!

Check in Team (4:30pm): You will assist guests and their caretakers as they come in for the prom.

None: I will only be participating in another role.

Experience

NEWBIE: I rarely interact with individuals with special needs.

EXPERIENCED: I have served at several of these events before or have worked 1:1 with and individual with special needs.

EXPERT: I work in a professional setting or have a family member with special needs.

Special Skills Role

Security Team (4:00pm): This role is reserved for members of the Hoboken Grace security team. Provide focused attention to the safety of all prom participants. 

Medical Team (4:30pm): To serve in this role, you must have medical training and experience (doctor, nurse, EMT, nurse practitioner, physician’s assistant, etc.) You will support guests and buddies with any medical concerns that may arise.
